This Course Rigor Scale (developed with input from students, faculty, and administrators) is a tool for guidance counselors to share with students as they plan course loads. The school provides estimations of how much time the average student will need to spend on homework each night per class. Students can use this in conjunction with a Time Scheduling Worksheet to calculate weekly time commitments and select the course load that best supports their well-being and academic engagement.
